I've just realized my friend Shalie tagged me. I can't figure out why this is all underlined, my apologies. I used to think I was more computer saavy, but now it's getting embarrassing how behind I am.

Landscape our sad backyard
Do some of the abundant fix-it jobs around the house (installing shelves, broken ottoman, new door handles, etc.)
Christmas/our anniversary shopping- I'll probably end up doing both :(
Buy a car- the lease expires in less than a year for the one vehicle we share
Survive residency, particularly the intern year...

5 Things you may not know about Darrick

Darrick minored in music- he plays trombone the best, & accordion, piano, guitar.
Darrick still finds somewhere somehow to play basketball at least once a week- when we're all asleep.
Sappy movies make him cry.
Ivanhoe was/is his all-time favorite classic movie (I'd personally never heard of it before).
His Neibaur ancestor was the first Jew to be baptized into the mormon church and was Joseph Smith's dentist.

Just a random note: My little Lauren is so sweet, I've always said if I had to sum her up in one word it would be SWEET. Just as I was finishing this post I heard Darrick snap a little at her by asking "Why are you sitting so close!?" (he's got stuff out studying) and she replied quite matter-of-factly, "Because you're my daddy and I love you," and continued right on watching her movie like she hadn't been interrupted. Other children (including my own) sometimes make it too easy to be mad at them, but I will say Lauren makes it very difficult to have any reason to be mad at her.
