I wanted to put this picture at the end, but apparently I am not capable of moving it. I love sleeping babies...

Matt and Jenny came all the way out from Ohio to visit with us for almost a week. Neither of them had ever been to Vegas before, so hopefully they got in some of the sights and had a good time. Least spectacular (in my opinion)- but the only one I had my camera with me- was the Hoover Dam which is currently under lots of construction to build this massive bridge you can see in the background for cars to travel over instead of the dam itself.

It was so fun to see them again and have them visit us. My girls all ate up the time they could be with them.
I LOVE dressing kids up in Halloween outfits even though it is for such a short while, if we are lucky they can wear their Halloween shirts 4X in a year :)

Did my own research and found this is not a true spider, it is in the same classification as scorpions, although bites can lead to infection they are not poisenous. They do NOT live around or in webs, and can in fact move incredibly fast. Sometimes referred to as sun or wind scorpions.
I've killed a few of those spiders also and it freaked me out at first because they are nasty looking, but after looking it up and found out that they are pretty harmless I relaxed!
I would have freaked out. I hate bugs, especially big ones that look like they could kill a child. Glad you caught it before it could do any damage. Have fun in cali.
That's one nasty looking "spider". I would have freaked out big time. Glad they're not dangerous. Hope you have fun on your trip.
Krista--that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen! I would move have moved into a hotel!!!!!!! Glad you aren't the whimp I am.
Umm, that thing is NASTY! Yuck, I'm sorry you had to deal with that! So how are you feeling? Only a couple weeks left or so, hu? Your girls are darling as always, miss you!
