The Turleys stopped by for a visit. Each family has had two additional kids since the last time we were together!! Yes, Katlyn came home from California with a streak. Originally to be red, her light hair sports a nice hot pink now. Fun for the summer!
The older cousins (Trevor, Katlyn, TJ, Teigan, Lauren)
The little cousins (quads, Madelyn, Bryn)
Bryn has really taken to playing in the water. She loves to splash and crawl all over in it. Unrelated story... but just this morning I had put her to bed for about an hour and a half and heard her start to cry. I went to find her covered in what appeared to be smeared chocolate all over her face, arms, legs, completely smeared across all of her bed sheets, bumper pad, diaper holder, blankets, crib railings... only it didn't smell so sweet. She had managed to get her diaper off (wearing a dress) before pooping & playing- for and hour and a half in it! She just barely turned 7 months, my other kids took more time before they managed these stunts.
Out of order, but we went to the National Yosemite Park and this was the result on the car ride home:
There were waterfalls everywhere you looked. The day was perfectly beautiful and warm.
Moms and kids sporting our Yosemite Park t-shirts.
This is at the very bottom of a waterfall, very misty. It was just so spectacular.
Hiking around the bottom of a waterful.
Absolutely felt like we walked straight into a postcard. How beautiful is this??

Cute cousin bunz
My sisters, Dana, Shannon, Kati, and myself. Picnicing on pizza in the parking lot.
These are the massive upturned roots of a giant sequoia tree, you can see the length of the tree along the bottom left corner of the picture.
My sister Kati made a skit for us to perform, she narrated (shortest of the group). It was great fun, and the kids all enjoyed seeing their parents acting.
Katlyn & Lauren with their dear cousins Janey and Kenzi
This is Bryn (6 1/2 months) with her cousin Kyler (2 1/2 months). He's going to be a BIG boy!!
I just LOVE this picture. Darrick is working with the girls to wash the springs' towels with the old wringer washer they still use, originally invented in the 18oo's.
